Job summary

Safran Seats in the UK is seeking a Configuration Manager to lead and maintain the CMS (Configuration Management System) across projects and lifecycles. The role ensures governance, traceability, and compliance with QMS, information systems, and regulatory standards.

You will drive engineering change control, support Windchill PLM deployment, and push standardisation of configuration practices to strengthen project governance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree required with a strong mechanical/aerospace background.
• CMII Level 6 certification is preferred.
• Experience with PLM/DMU environments and relevant OEM standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the CMS across its lifecycle.
• Own and optimise the engineering change control process and CCBs.
• Drive standardisation of configuration practices aligned with group processes.
