Job summary

Safran Seats is seeking a Configuration Manager to lead and maintain the CMS, ensuring governance of product configurations through their lifecycle. You will align with group processes, QMS, and regulatory standards while driving change control with robust CI/CCB governance.

The role focuses on standardising configuration and change practices, producing CM data and reports, and partnering with programme teams to embed control throughout delivery. Strong aerospace CM experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering, or HNC/HND (or equivalent).
• CMII Level 6 Certified, with strong CM principles knowledge.
• Proficient in CATIA V5, SmarTeam, and/or other PLM systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the CMS, ensuring compliance with requirements and KPI reporting.
• Own and optimise the engineering change control process with clear responsibilities and CCBs.
• Drive standardisation of configuration and engineering change practices across group processes.
