Advanced Practitioner - Social Work Academy Team

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for an Advanced Practitioner within the Social Work Academy Team, based in Northamptonshire.

The salary for this role is up to £44,911 per annum.

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Supervising and managing the workload of newly qualified social workers under the direction of the team manager, providing mentoring, reflective supervision, case monitoring, and professional development in high-complexity situations to ensure high standards of service delivery.
  2. Supporting the Team Managers in maintaining accurate records of allocations and ensuring high-quality service delivery, embedding the Signs of Safety model into practice.
  3. Contributing to the learning and development of the Academy/NCC by managing interfaces with Higher Education Institutes, contributing to training, curriculum delivery, assessment, and quality assurance.
  4. Ensuring accurate documentation for practice assessments, case file audits, and feedback incorporation to improve social work practice.
  5. Assisting in establishing and utilizing information systems for performance and quality assurance, and supporting performance and budget management.
  6. Developing effective partnerships within a multi-disciplinary context to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
  7. Providing professional leadership and education to social workers at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, fostering development of excellent practice standards.
  8. Maintaining health, safety, and welfare standards, and complying with relevant policies and procedures.
  9. Performing any other duties within the scope and purpose of the role, and demonstrating awareness of equal opportunities and diverse needs.

Minimum requirements for this role:

  • Degree or equivalent in Social Work
  • Current Social Work England Registration
  • Experience within Children's Services
  • Full Driver's License and access to a vehicle
