A well-established GP practice in Wirral seeks an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality, patient-centred care. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to work autonomously while being part of a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
The post holder will provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients, contributing to service development and quality improvement. You will use your advanced clinical skills to support patients across the service, working closely with GPs, consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals.

The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will work autonomously within the GP practice to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting with acute, chronic, and complex conditions. The post holder will provide same‑day and routine appointments, undertake comprehensive clinical assessments, request and interpret investigations, and prescribe independently within their scope of practice.
The role includes management of long‑term conditions, health promotion, and preventative care, as well as signposting and referral to appropriate services. The ANP will work closely with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and patient‑centred care, contributing to service development, clinical audit, and quality improvement activities.
The post holder will practice in accordance with NMC standards, local policies, and evidence-based guidelines.
