A local authority is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team in the Ribble Valley area. This role offers a payrate of up to £30 per hour, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in safeguarding and be an autonomous worker knowledgeable about the Care Act 2014. Qualifications

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
  • Must have minimum of 3 years experience working as a Qualified social worker

Our Client, Bolton Council, is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team.

Responsibilities
  • To screen referrals, move cases through the system to the most appropriate team or person in the organisation and provide oversight and professional support to providers and partner agency colleagues.
  • To work within the framework provided by statute, guidance, policies and procedures.
  • To undertake safeguarding investigations and attend strategy meetings and MDT meetings to progress enquiries as necessary.
  • Must be autonomous worker with sound knowledge of Care Act 2014 and all relevant legislation relating to adults with care or support needs.
