Administration Officer

Location: HMP Erlestoke, Erlestoke House, Devizes. SN10 5TU

Salary: £28,853.57 per annum

Contract: Permanent – 39 hrs per week – Mon‑Fri

Holidays are 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays. The role offers a range of non‑contractual benefits including Death in Service at 4× salary, private GP consultations and an Employee Assistance Programme with counselling and preventative care information services, financial reward mechanisms, and access to retailer discounts.

We are seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to join our team at HMP Erlestoke, Category C adult male prison. Our team works Monday‑Friday as a supportive and driven family, creating a safe and nurturing environment. HMP Erlestoke operates like a self‑contained city, and as part of the Facilities Maintenance Team we are committed to the smooth, safe operation of the facility, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors and the wider community.

As an Administration Officer you will work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues in a variety of trades, providing a safe and secure environment for all.

We are looking for an Administration Officer with the following experience:

  • Experience in using a variety of IT systems, including CAFM
  • Experience in a busy office environment
  • Experience of working without supervision
  • Knowledge of IT systems
  • Up to date First Aid qualification
  • Administrative experience
