Overview

Work pattern: Mon - Thu 8.30am - 4.30pm / Fri 8.30am - 3.30pm (includes 45min unpaid break)

A vacancy has arisen for a full time Admin Support Assistant. This is a remote post, but would require attendance at a base office location (Church St, Dumbarton) when required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality admin support, including sickness and annual leave recording, procurement processes, internal/external recharging, and minute taking.
  • These duties will predominantly be carried out on behalf of the Facilities Management Section who manage catering and cleaning staff both within schools and public offices.
Qualifications
  • The successful candidate will be required to have an administration related qualification such as an SVQ Business Administration or equivalent
  • Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Willing to undertake any training relevant to the post
  • The preferred candidate will be required to complete a Basic Disclosure check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council
