Admin Officer

Location: Location can be any APHA CSC office (Exeter, Cardiff, Worcester, Stafford, York)


Working Days / Hours: 37 hours


Working Pattern: Primarily Monday-Friday however some weekend cover will be required (Hybrid with 60% of time in an office and the remaining time at home - except weekends when it will be homeworking).


Pay Rate: £13.47 per hour

Our Client is hiring a temporary worker to provide administrative support, following established procedures while using your judgement to help things run smoothly.


What you'll be doing:


  • Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data, then submitting results in written reports

  • Overseeing administrative procedures and processes to keep work moving efficiently

  • Acting as an administrative liaison with internal and/or external contacts

  • Preparing routine correspondence with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Supporting budget preparation and control *if required*

  • Carrying out tasks under general supervision, with space to apply independent judgement where needed


What you’ll bring:


  • Experience of administrative work and the ability to follow set procedures confidently

  • Strong communication skills-both oral and written

  • Good knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office

  • The ability to exercise some independent judgement while still working within guidance

  • A steady, organized approach to handling information, correspondence, and processes


Additional information:

Working pattern: a five-day working week, which may be Thursday-Monday or Monday-Friday (inclusive)


Work location: Work from any APHA location
