Brook Street is recruiting for a Customer Services & Data Operations Officer - Admin Officer in Birmingham. This office-based role supports frontline operations with accurate data handling and responsive customer service.

You will manage mail, update CRM records, process deeds and maintain data integrity while collaborating with multiple departments to hit KPIs. Basic DBS clearance is required and pay is £12.86 per hour on-site.

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs including maths and English, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to manage a high workload while maintaining accuracy.
  • Experience using systems to create and update customer and supplier records.
  • Customer-focused mindset: calm, empathetic and solution-oriented.
  • Flexibility to carry out duties appropriate to the role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage post and shared mailboxes, replying to internal and external enquiries promptly.
  • Validate and create new supplier/customer records; process amendments accurately.
  • Process high volumes of customer Discharges and Deeds via Land Registry with attention to detail.
  • Input and maintain the CRM system to ensure data integrity.
  • Support colleagues by resolving customer issues with a professional approach.
  • Contribute to new processes and improvements of existing procedures.
  • Work with other departments to meet KPIs and targets.
  • Build relationships across teams for smooth handovers.

Customer Services & Data Operations Officer - Admin Officer

Are you at your best when things need to be accurate, responsive and well organised? Our Client is hiring for a reputed client to support frontline operational services at a Birmingham Government Hub. This is a hands-on role where you'll help keep customer journeys moving smoothly-through excellent service, careful data handling, and quick, reliable resolution.

What you'll be doing:
  • Manage post and shared mailboxes, responding to internal and external enquiries with timely, satisfactory outcomes
  • Validate and create new supplier/customer records, and process future amendments accurately
  • Process a high volume of customer Discharges and Deeds via Land Registry, maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Input, maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management system to ensure data integrity
  • Support colleagues by helping resolve customer issues and complaints with a professional, helpful approach
  • Contribute to discussions to implement new processes or improve existing procedures
  • Work with other departments to help deliver departmental Key Performance Indicators and targets
  • Build effective relationships across teams to maintain strong service levels and smooth handovers
What you'll bring:
  • Able to handle a busy workload while maintaining accuracy and high service standards

  • Experience supporting improvements to operational processes (from "better ways of working" to practical process changes)
