Job description
Overview

Internal vacancy only open to current NHS Scotland staff. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrative assistant to apply for a permanent post working with the Health Visiting Team in The Teviot cluster. The successful candidate will be expected to support service delivery across the wider cluster that includes Jedburgh, Hawick and Selkirk, and occasionally other cluster areas if the need arises.

  • Assist with service delivery activities to support the functioning of the team.
Salary and Term

The salary quoted is for full-time hours (37 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata.

Fixed Term Contract until 30 September 2026.

Conditions and Checks
  • Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check than is currently the case. If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", your appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. If there is any change to what is currently required, this will be confirmed by the Hiring Manager or the Recruitment Team.
