To work in the United Kingdom there is a legal requirement to demonstrate that you have the relevant permission to work. This permission is granted by the UK Visas and Immigration Service. NHS Scotland Boards will check entitlement to work as part of pre-employment checks and may consider routes including visa types and EU settled/pre-settled status. For more information visit GOV.UK.
