Job summary

David Lloyd Kingston is seeking an Activities Manager to lead the operational delivery across Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families within the club. You will act as Duty Manager, ensuring smooth and efficient operations and member satisfaction.

You will recruit, train and empower your team to deliver exceptional service, creating an inclusive culture where staff can thrive and grow within the DL Club network.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a large operational service delivery facility.
• Ability to lead multiple functions with varied challenges and goals.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in financial planning and management.
• A passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage activities across Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families departments within the club.
• Regularly act as Duty Manager, ensuring efficient club operations.
• Recruit, train and empower the team to deliver exceptional member experiences.
• Cultivate an inclusive culture and strive for service excellence for members.

As A ctivities M anger you will lead and manage an efficient operation of all activities that take place in the Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families Departments within your DL Club . You will regularly act as Duty Manager, taking responsibility for the efficient operation for the entire club.

We take pride in the service we offer our members so selecting the right team is key. You will lead the recruitment, training and empowerment of your team to ensure they bring their A-game to work each and every day in order to deliver an exception experience to our members.

• Has experience managing a large operational service delivery facility (e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility).
• Experience leading a variety of functions with variable challenges and goals, or across variable depts.
• Overall great communication and collaboration skills
• Experience of financial planning and management.
• A passion about customer service.
