Job summary

David Lloyd Leisure in Kingston upon Thames is seeking an experienced Activities Manager to lead and manage the comprehensive activities operation across Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Family departments within the club.

You will regularly act as Duty Manager, ensuring smooth club operations, delivering an exceptional member experience, and driving recruitment, training and empowerment of your team to perform at their best.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a large operational service delivery facility.
• Experience leading cross-functional functions or departments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with financial planning and management.
• Passion for delivering outstanding member service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the operation of activities across Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families.
• Regularly act as Duty Manager, ensuring efficient club operations.
• Recruit, train and empower the team to deliver exceptional service.
• Drive customer focus and a positive member experience across the club.

As A ctivities M anger you will lead and manage an efficient operation of all activities that take place in the Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families Departments within your DL Club . You will regularly act as Duty Manager, taking responsibility for the efficient operation for the entire club. We take pride in the service we offer our members so selecting the right team is key. As Activities Manager , we are looking for someone who:

• Has experience managing a large operational service delivery facility (e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility).""
• Experience leading a variety of functions with variable challenges and goals, or across variable depts.
• Overall great communication and collaboration skills
• Experience of financial planning and management."
• A passion about customer service.
