Job summary

David Lloyd Clubs in Brooklands is seeking an Activities Manager to lead operations across the Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families departments. You will regularly act as Duty Manager, ensuring efficient club operations and delivering exceptional member service.

You will recruit, train and empower your team to meet standards and drive member satisfaction, financial planning and department performance.

Qualifications

• Has experience managing a large operational service delivery facility (e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility).
• Experience leading a variety of functions with variable challenges and goals, or across variable depts.
• Overall great communication and collaboration skills
• Experience of financial planning and management.
• A passion about customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage activities across Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families departments.
• Regularly act as Duty Manager, taking responsibility for the efficient operation for the entire club.
• Recruit, train and empower your team to ensure they bring their A-game to work each day to deliver an exceptional experience to our members.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain high service standards and smooth operations.
• Support financial planning and management for the activities departments.

As Activities Manager you will lead and manage an efficient operation of all activities that take place in the Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families Departments within your DL Club. You will regularly act as Duty Manager, taking responsibility for the efficient operation for the entire club.
