Job summary

David Lloyd Clubs Ltd in Sunderland is seeking an Activities Manager to lead operations across Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families departments. You will also act as Duty Manager, ensuring the club runs smoothly and delivers a premium member experience.

You will recruit, train and empower your team to deliver exceptional service, drive engagement and foster a welcoming, inclusive culture for members and staff alike, with scope to advance through internal development.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a large operational service delivery facility (e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility).
• Experience leading a variety of functions with variable challenges and goals, or across variable depts.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience of financial planning and management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the operation of all activities across Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families within the club.
• Regularly act as Duty Manager, ensuring the entire club runs efficiently.
• Recruit, train and empower your team to deliver an exceptional member experience.

We are on the look out for a passionate Activities Manager to join our team!

As Activities Manager you will lead and manage an efficient operation of all activities that take place in the Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families Departments within your DL Club. You will regularly act as Duty Manager, taking responsibility for the efficient operation for the entire club. We take pride in the service we offer our members so selecting the right team is key. You will lead the recruitment, training and empowerment of your team to ensure they bring their A-game to work each and every day in order to deliver an exception experience to our members.
