Zusammenfassung

Boots is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our medicines supply and accuracy checking team. You will support Pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure safe, efficient dispensing of prescriptions, while coaching dispensing staff and contributing to patient-centred care.

Reporting to the Responsible Pharmacist, you will oversee the dispensing team, perform accuracy checks, take medicine histories, and provide accessible advice to patients.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Pharmacist Regulator (GPhC) and Accuracy Checking Qualification.
• Passion for patient and customer care.
• Ability to deliver high standards efficiently.
• Able to oversee the dispensing team in collaboration with the Healthcare Team.

Aufgaben

• Ordering medicines, checking, dispensing, and endorsing prescriptions.
• Responsible for final accuracy check of dispensed items.
• Overseeing Dispensing Team Members as directed by the Responsible Pharmacist.
• Involved in preparation, supply and checking of prescriptions with advice and support.
• Take medicine histories from patients and advise on treatment options.
• Advise patients and coach others; refer complex queries to the Pharmacist.
