Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Pharmacy Regulator (GPhC) and Accuracy Checking Qualification.
• Passion for patient and customer care.
• Ability to deliver high standards efficiently.
• Comfortable overseeing the dispensing team and supporting the wider Healthcare Team.
• Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Digitally knowledgeable and open to new technology.
• Commitment to continuous learning and development as an accuracy checking technician.

Responsibilities

• Ordering medicines, checking, dispensing, and endorsing prescriptions.
• Final accuracy check of dispensed items before supply to patients.
• Overseeing Dispensing Team Members when requested by the Responsible Pharmacist.
• Involved in preparation, supply and checking of prescriptions with advice and support.
• Taking medicine histories and advising on treatment options.
• Coach colleagues to advise on medicines and refer complex queries to the Pharmacist.
