Qualifications

• GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician with Accuracy Checking Qualification.
• Passion for patient and customer care.
• Ability to deliver high standards efficiently.
• Capable of overseeing the dispensing team and supporting the wider Healthcare Team.
• Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Digitally knowledgeable and comfortable with new technology.

Responsibilities

• Ordering medicines, checking, dispensing, and endorsing prescriptions.
• Final accuracy check of dispensed items before supply to patients.
• Overseeing Dispensing Team Members when requested by the Responsible Pharmacist.
• Involved in preparation, supply and checking of prescriptions; providing advice and support.
• Taking medicine histories from patients and advising on treatment options.
• Guiding patients and coaching others to advise about medicines and refer complex queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
