• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC and ACC qualification.
• Passion for patient and customer care.
• Ability to deliver high standards efficiently.
• Able to oversee dispensing team and support the wider healthcare team.
• Capable of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Digitally knowledgeable and comfortable with new technology.
• Willing to become an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician with Boots.

Responsibilities

• Ordering medicines, checking, dispensing, and endorsing prescriptions.
• Final accuracy check of dispensed items before supply to patients.
• Overseeing dispensing team members when asked by the Responsible Pharmacist.
• Preparation, supply and checking of prescriptions, providing advice and support.
• Taking medicine histories from patients and advising on treatment options.
• Advising patients and coaching others to discuss medicines and referrals to Pharmacist as needed.
