Are you an experienced accountant looking for a hands‑on, client‑facing role where you can lead a team and make a real impact? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing accountancy practice, managing client portfolios while overseeing the delivery of accounting services across the office.

What you’ll be doing
  • Managing a team to deliver high‑quality accountancy services
  • Overseeing a portfolio of clients and ensuring timely delivery of accounts
  • Monitoring job progress, billing targets, and deadlines
  • Preparing accounts for limited companies and corporation tax computations/returns
  • Planning, preparing, and executing client personal tax returns
  • Building positive working relationships with clients and the practice team
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations
  • Using software including IRIS, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Word, and Excel
  • Providing technical guidance and development support to colleagues and trainees
  • Handling client queries efficiently and professionally
What we’re looking for
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with at least 5 years post‑qualified experience in practice
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Excellent reporting skills and commercial awareness
  • Confident in giving recommendations and advice to clients
  • Proven track record in managing teams and client portfolios
