Job description

Our client has a permanent vacancy for an Accounts Manager to provide a fully comprehensive financial support service, being responsible for control of all cost centres, evaluation of budget and operational assumptions and presentation of budgets and performance back to the senior management team.

The role
  • Overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, such as payroll, invoicing and cash flow
  • Recording and reconciling transactions such as accounts payable, receivable, cash receipts and credit card transactions
  • Identifying risks to delivery, proposing solutions, and managing senior management expectations
  • Monitoring cash flow, spotting trends, and forecasting requirements
  • Produce weekly management information, and monthly finance packs such as P&L, balance sheet
  • Developing budgets, forecasting, and analyzing variances, providing accurate information and costings
  • Serving as the primary contact for internal staff on invoicing, bill payments, and budgets
  • To provide and interpret financial information relative to separate projects
  • Update and monitor holidays for all employees
  • To evaluate ways to cut costs and present viable options to MD
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and procedures
  • Keeping up to date with accounting software and technological advances
  • Liaising with auditors, suppliers, bankers, and other contacts
Requirements
