Job summary

The Job People Limited in the West Bromwich area is seeking an Internal Accounts Manager to join a well-established manufacturing company. You will manage key customer accounts, maintain regular communication on orders and deliveries, and liaise with internal teams to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities include resolving queries, monitoring satisfaction, and building strong relationships through proactive engagement and account reviews.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer facing role, preferably in the manufacturing sector is preferred.
• Strong Excel and IT skills.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience building relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of order processing, logistics and supply chain operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with assigned customer accounts, acting as the main point of contact.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates on orders, deliveries, and service-related matters.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure accurate information is communicated and customer requirements are met.
• Take ownership of customer queries, complaints, and service issues through to resolution.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify opportunities to improve service levels.
• Build strong customer relationships through proactive engagement and regular account reviews.
• Maintain accurate account records and provide customer insights to management.
• Ensure a professional, positive, and customer-centric service is delivered at all times.
