Job summary

Forrest Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced sales/account manager to look after existing customer accounts within a well-established manufacturing company based in Rochdale.

You will respond to enquiries, coordinate with production and logistics, maintain CRM records, identify new contacts to win additional business, upsell services, and visit UK clients as needed. Strong communication, organisational skills and the flexibility to travel within the UK are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales or customer account management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Responding promptly to customer enquiries with quotes, product samples and delivery issues.
• Liaising with production and logistics to ensure orders are made and shipped on time and delays are communicated.
• Maintaining accurate customer records using a CRM database.
• Identifying new contacts in different departments of existing customers to win new business.
• Upselling and expanding on services and products sold to maximise revenue.
• Visiting UK-based clients.
• Monitoring and analysing market trends to expand opportunities.
• Supporting marketing by attending trade shows and exhibitions.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a very well established manufacturing company based in Rochdale. With the emphasis on customer service and relationships, you will be looking after existing customer accounts which include blue chip companies.

Duties will include;

• Responding promptly to customer enquiries with quotes, product samples and delivery issues
• Liaising closely with production and logistics to ensure that orders are made and shipped in a timely manner and any delays are communicated to the customer
• Maintaining accurate customer records using CRM database
• Identifying new contacts in different departments of existing customers to win new business
• Upselling and expanding on services and products sold to maximise revenue
• Visiting clients ( UK based )
• Monitoring and analysing market trends within the sector and using the information to expand on business opportunities
• Supporting marketing initiatives by attending trade shows and exhibitions
