Job summary

The Job People Limited is seeking an Internal Accounts Manager in the West Bromwich area to support a well-established manufacturing business. You will manage key customer accounts, ensuring updates on orders, deliveries and service matters are communicated clearly.

Coordination with internal departments, handling queries and driving service improvements will be essential to deliver a professional, customer-centric service while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong Excel and IT skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Hours of Work: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

Pay: From £32,480 to £34,510 per annum

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with assigned customer accounts, acting as the main point of contact.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates on orders, deliveries, and service-related matters.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure accurate information is communicated and customer requirements are met.
• Take ownership of customer queries, complaints, and service issues through to resolution.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify opportunities to improve service levels.

• Maintain accurate account records and provide customer insights to management.
• Ensure a professional, positive, and customer-centric service is delivered at all times.

Experience for the Internal Accounts manager

• Previous experience in a customer facing role, preferably in the manufacturing sector is preferred

• Experience building relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of order processing, logistics and supply chain operations is desirable
