Ashley Kate Finance are delighted to be supporting our client in their search for an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone with solid accounting knowledge and Sage Line 50 experience to play a key role in supporting the finance function.

Accounts Assistant

Location: LE4

Salary: up to 35K DOE

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing invoices and managing accounts payable.
  • Completing payment runs and making bank payments.
  • Collating employee hours and subcontractor payments.
  • Raising and uploading customer invoices, including to customer portals.
  • Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards.
  • Supporting month-end processes, including journals and reconciliations.
  • Monitoring daily cashflow.
  • Preparing documentation for audits.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Sage Line 50.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable and general finance processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
