Account Manager - Rail Portfolio

Location: Hybrid (with travel to sites)

Role Purpose: Due to recent tender successes and growth within our Rail Engineering portfolio of clients, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to bolster our existing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of rail clients, delivering tailored staffing solutions across permanent, temp-to-perm, and contract roles.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery and timely project execution.
  • Drive business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and growing the client base.
  • Maintain a disciplined, high-energy approach to meeting targets and deadlines while managing competing priorities.
  • Travel to client sites as required to build relationships, assess needs, and ensure effective service delivery.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous rail experience and a solid understanding of the rolling stock sector.
  • Engineering discipline background is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work at pace, with a high level of attention to detail and focus.
  • Energetic, self-disciplined, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in business development and generating new opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Additional Information:

  • This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility in working from home, but regular travel to client sites and team meetings is essential.
