Job summary

Howden, a global insurance group, is seeking a proactive professional to support renewal and new business activity, prepare market documentation, and strengthen client relationships within the UK Civil/Commercial operations. You will collaborate with clients, insurers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Insurance experience welcomed but not essential; construction industry experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and respond to day-to-day client enquiries, escalating where appropriate.
• Finalise renewal questionnaires and underwriting submissions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and market contacts.
• Create and implement a structured and organised market approach strategy.
• Coordinate and manage relationships with other service providers across Howden.
• Attend and contribute to UKC team meetings.
• Complete required risk reduction modules and CPD hours.
• Achieve Workday goals and maintain high-quality documentation.
• Develop knowledge of UKC insurance products and value proposition.
• Attend industry events and share learnings with the team.
