Job Title: A6 Cantilever Tower Trained Technician

Location: London

Employment Type: Temporary

As an A6 Cantilever Tower Technician, you will be responsible for the safe erection, alteration, and dismantling of cantilever scaffold systems. You will work alongside a team of professionals to ensure high‑quality standards and compliance with safety regulations on every project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Erect, modify, and dismantle A6 Cantilever Tower systems in accordance with PASMA standards and company procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, especially with regard to working at height.
  • Carry out risk assessments and follow safe working practices on‑site.
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and quality control throughout all phases of the scaffolding process.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines.
  • Inspect scaffolds regularly to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior team members as needed.
Key Requirements
  • PASMA A6 Cantilever Tower Certification is essential.
  • Proven experience working with cantilever scaffolds or similar scaffolding systems.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, especially in relation to scaffolding and working at height.
  • Ability to read and interpret scaffolding plans, blueprints, and drawings.
  • CSCS card.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward safety and quality.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required.
Desirable Skills
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role or as a team leader.
  • Additional certifications such as First Aid, Harness Awareness, or Working at Height would be advantageous.
  • Driving licence and own transport.
