Overview

Prospero Teaching is looking for an ECT Teacher to work for a Sixth Form in Kensington starting immediately. Excellent understanding of assessment and differentiation is essential to enable students to make progress at the best possible rate.

You will need a strong understanding of the KS5 Economics curriculum and be an engaging teacher who can enthuse and motivate students with their learning. A creative approach to teaching and the ability to make innovative links between subjects is required.

This is a friendly and welcoming school where the staff work hard to provide every student with the support they need to succeed academically and to develop socially and emotionally.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver KS5 Economics to Sixth Form students and support progression towards GCSE/A-level outcomes.
  • Assess and differentiate effectively to enable students to make maximum progress.
  • Engage and motivate learners with creativity and the ability to make cross-subject connections.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • A good degree, preferably from a Russell Group university.
  • Experience in private education is preferred.
  • Experience teaching the relevant subjects to GCSE and/or A-level students.
  • QTS and experience working in a UK secondary school.
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training (a free safeguarding course can be undertaken if not completed in the last 12 months).
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • DBS certificate (enhanced) registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for a new DBS.
  • Provide professional references covering the last two full years.
