3.5 Tonne Driver (Temp to Perm)

Depot Location: CM13, Hutton

Start Date: 19th January

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Working Hours: 7:00am - 4:30pm

30 minutes unpaid lunch deducted

Pay Rate: 16.20 per hour, paid via umbrella company

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and physically fit 3.5 Tonne Driver to work for a busy electrical company based in Hutton (CM13). This role involves driving a 3.5T Luton van, delivering materials to sites, and assisting with general warehouse duties.

This is a hands‑on role with a lot of manual handling, so applicants must be fit and willing to assist beyond driving.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a 3.5 tonne Luton van
• Delivering materials to construction sites
• Loading and unloading materials (manual handling involved)
• General warehouse duties including picking and packing
• Keeping the van and yard tidy and reporting any issues
• Working closely with warehouse and site teams

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with 0 points
• Experience driving a 3.5T vehicle
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable and punctual
• CSCS card preferred, or willingness to complete the course (required for site access when delivering materials)
• Good attitude and team player

Additional Information

Van must remain in the company yard in Hutton overnight

Parking available for those driving to the depot
