Job summary

A technology services company in Salford is seeking a 2nd Line Network Engineer to manage technical incidents, troubleshoot network issues, and engage with customers effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience with enterprise networking platforms, possess a CCNA certification, and be able to communicate technical information clearly. Qualifications

• CCNA or equivalent vendor certifications required.
• Experience troubleshooting both WAN & LAN technologies.
• Ability to analyse packets using appropriate tooling.

Responsibilities

• Manage incidents from customers on a priority basis.
• Update customers regarding their incident progress timely.
• Assist customers with technical issues and escalation.

Skills

Experience working with enterprise networking platforms like Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper

Strong documentation and network diagramming skills

Proven experience in switching, routing, firewalling and wireless technologies

CCNA or equivalent vendor certifications

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
