Job summary

Open Cosmos Ltd. in the UK is seeking an IT operations specialist to manage escalated user support, deeper infrastructure work and continuous improvement across Windows, Linux, macOS and mobile platforms.

You will administer Google Workspace, Entra ID/MFA, M365, and device management with Intune/Jamf, drive automation and security best practices while ensuring SLAs are met.

This role sits in the COO organisation and offers exposure to cross‑functional teams and mission‑critical deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting across Windows, Linux, macOS and SaaS platforms.
• Experience administering M365, Entra ID, IAM, MFA/SSO, device compliance, EDR/AV and patching.
• Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing, change control and documentation; scripting/automation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and resolve escalated issues across devices, networks, identity, and collaboration tools.
• Troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Meet SLAs and communicate clearly with users and stakeholders.
• Administer Google Workspace, SSO/IAM, MFA and support migration to M365 and Entra ID.
• Manage endpoints with Intune/Jamf/MDM, including packaging and baselines.
• Support LAN/WLAN/VPN/DNS/DHCP/firewall changes and monitoring; liaise with providers.
• Manage device lifecycle builds, replacements, RMAs and onboarding/offboarding.
• Contribute to deployments and upgrades (office builds, Wi-Fi refresh, EDR rollouts, migrations).
• Improve automation, self-service, reporting and monitoring through scripting and tooling.
• Champion security best practices across patching, hardening, device compliance, and access controls.
