Job summary

Hunter Selection seeks a strong 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their growing internal IT function in Plymouth. You will provide second line support to end users, troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, and contribute to IT service improvements.

You will maintain core infrastructure, support Microsoft 365 and user administration, assist with device deployment, and work with third‑party suppliers to keep systems secure and reliable.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of 2nd line IT experience.
• TCP/IP networking and DNS.
• PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
• Windows 11 fundamentals.
• Office 365 suite management and user support.
• Hardware and printer troubleshooting and support.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line IT support to end users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
• Manage and resolve support tickets efficiently.
• Support Microsoft 365 and user administration.
• Assist with device deployment and user onboarding.
• Coordinate with third‑party suppliers as required.
• Contribute to IT projects and system improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation and best practices.
