Job summary

RecruitME is seeking a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer for a Stamford-based role within a professional services firm. You will provide day-to-day IT support, covering hardware, software, user accounts and connectivity across multiple sites.

The role emphasises hands-on troubleshooting, remote support, device builds and Microsoft 365 administration, with opportunities to work on infrastructure projects and IT deployments. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

Experience in 2nd line IT support across Windows environments.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and security.
Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software and networking issues.
Experience with Active Directory, Exchange Online and device management.

Responsibilities

Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to users across multiple offices, logging, triaging, resolving and escalating tickets.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity and account issues both remotely and on site.
Build, configure, deploy and manage laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripherals.
Support Microsoft 365, AD, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive; assist with Intune provisioning.
Support Windows Server, Hyper-V and wider infrastructure tasks; assist with IT projects and office moves.
Maintain clear IT documentation and knowledge base content.
