Job summary

Hunter Selection represents a Plymouth-based client seeking a hands-on 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their internal IT team. The role focuses on high-quality end-user support, troubleshooting complex issues and contributing to IT service improvements.

You will provide 2nd line support, manage tickets, support Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, assist with device deployment and onboarding, and work with third‑party suppliers on IT projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of 2nd line IT support experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and user support.
• Strong troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line support to end users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
• Manage and resolve support tickets efficiently.
• Support Microsoft 365 and user administration.
• Assist with device deployment and user onboarding.
• Work with third-party suppliers when required.
• Contribute to IT projects and system improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation and best practices.
• Help ensure systems remain secure and reliable.
