Job summary

Blenheim Schools is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to deliver 2nd line support across a multi-site environment. You will work closely with the Service Desk, Infrastructure, Security, Applications and Projects teams to resolve incidents and contribute to IT improvements.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, troubleshooting skills and ownership of issues from start to finish, with a focus on Microsoft 365, AD and device management across Windows and mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• Professional IT qualification or related degree required.
• 3–5 years in 2nd/3rd line support or MSP environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows servers, desktop platforms, and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line support for incidents, service requests, and technical issues.
• Act as an escalation point for Service Desk engineers.
• Manage and resolve support tickets through to completion.
• Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Google Workspace environments.
• Configure and maintain laptops, mobile devices, printers, and tablets.
• Manage devices using Jamf and/or Microsoft Intune.
• Support networking infrastructure, connectivity, and telephony systems.
• Assist with cybersecurity incidents, system improvements, and technology rollouts.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Build strong relationships with users and provide excellent customer service.
