Job summary

Open Cosmos is seeking an IT Operations professional to join the COO team, owning the device lifecycle from builds to onboarding/offboarding and driving deployments and upgrades. You will implement automation, monitoring and reporting to streamline operations.

Technical duties include M365 and Entra ID administration, IAM/MFA/SSO, and maintaining device security posture. Strong communication is essential to articulate complex topics to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Linux, macOS, mobile OS and SaaS platforms.
Experience administering M365, Entra ID, IAM, MFA/SSO, device compliance, EDR/AV.
Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing, change control and documentation.
Familiarity with scripting/automation (PowerShell/Bash) is a plus.
Clear, confident communication skills—translating technical concepts for non-technical users.

Responsibilities

Manage the full device lifecycle - builds, replacements, RMAs and onboarding/offboarding.
Contribute to deployments and upgrades (office builds, Wi‑Fi refresh, EDR rollouts, migrations).
Improve automation, self-service, reporting and monitoring through scripting and tooling.
Champion security best practice across patching, hardening, device compliance, and access controls.
