Job summary

Open Cosmos Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on IT support engineer to own and resolve escalated issues across Windows, Linux, macOS and iOS/Android, networks, identity and collaboration tools.

You will troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions, meet SLAs, and communicate clearly with users and stakeholders while administering M365, Entra ID, IAM, MFA/SSO and device compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting across Windows, Linux, macOS and mobile OS.
• Ability to administer M365, Entra ID, IAM, MFA/SSO, device compliance, EDR/AV, patching.
• Familiar with ITSM/ticketing, change control and documentation.
• Clear communication translating tech concepts for non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Own and resol ve escalated issues across Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS/Android, networks, identity and collaboration tools.
• Troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis, implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Meet SLAs and communicate with users and stakeholders.
• Administer Google Workspace, SSO/IAM, MFA and migrate to M365 and Entra ID.
• Manage endpoints using Intune/Jamf/MDM and secure baselines.
• Support LAN/WLAN/VPN/DNS/DHCP/firewall changes and liaise with providers.
• Manage the full device lifecycle builds, replacements, RMAs and onboarding/offboarding.
• Contribute to deployments and upgrades (office builds, Wi‑Fi refresh, EDR rollouts, migrations).
• Improve automation, self-service, reporting and monitoring through scripting and tooling.
• Champion security best practice across patching, hardening, device compliance, and access controls.
