Job summary

West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service is seeking a DDaT Technician to deliver high-quality ICT support, install and maintain ICT equipment, and assist users with technology-related enquiries.

You will work within a team to ensure reliable, customer-focused ICT services across the service, with responsibilities including asset management and incident handling. A strong background in fault diagnosis and PC configuration is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in a computer-related subject or equivalent experience.
• ITIL Foundation certification or willingness to achieve.
• Strong communication, organisational and time management skills.
• Experience with fault diagnosis and repair of networked PCs and software.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and support ICT equipment, systems and services, diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Assist users with technology-related enquiries and maintain accurate asset records.
• Deliver reliable, customer-focused ICT services across the organisation.
