Job summary

West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service is seeking an ICT support professional to deliver high-quality 2nd line support. You will install, configure and maintain ICT equipment and services, and ensure a reliable customer experience across our teams.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in a computer-related subject or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to achieve ITIL Foundation certification.
• Strong communication, organisational and time management skills.
• Experience in fault diagnosis, repair, installation and configuration of network PCs and software.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and support ICT equipment, systems and services.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues for users.
• Assist users with technology-related enquiries.
• Maintain accurate asset records.
• Support delivery of reliable, customer-focused ICT services.
