Job summary

A leading engineering services company in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced CAD Technician to focus on 2D AutoCAD panel layouts and electrical schematics. This onsite role involves producing accurate drawings and collaborating with engineers on control panel design. Strong 2D AutoCAD experience and electrical knowledge are required. The contract is set to start in January and lasts until the end of March, with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Experience with 2D AutoCAD in a non-3D role.
• Understanding of control panel layouts.
• Previous experience in industrial automation or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 2D panel layout drawings.
• Work with engineers to develop design packages.
• Configure and utilise AutoCAD Electrical.
• Interpret engineering notes and design briefs.
• Support document control and drawing revision management.
