Job summary

Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking a Technical Resource Coordinator for our Waste Operational Control Centre in Reading. This role supports 24/7 operations, coordinating responses to asset issues and assisting field teams to prevent incidents, with a strong emphasis on prioritisation and timely execution.

No wastewater background is required; organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Organised and able to juggle multiple priorities in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Experience not required in wastewater background; organisational skills and coordination are key.
• Comfortable coordinating across field and site teams and managers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate responses to reports of asset issues and escalate as needed.
• Support first responders with pollution and compliance incidents.
• Ensure high-priority jobs progress within timescales.
• Conduct live scenario checks before planned entries to ensure safety.
• Collaborate with Field and Site Managers to resolve operational issues.
