Job summary

Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking a motivated Technical Coordinator to support operations across Earlswood and Crawley, with travel to other sites. You will coordinate maintenance, manage SAP prerequisites, and work with field technicians and external contractors to maintain plant availability and meet KPIs.

This role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient operations, coordinating internal teams and suppliers, and delivering value within budget while supporting Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing prerequisites in SAP for complex maintenance jobs.
• Ability to design operationally critical field tasks.
• Ability to identify and mitigate operational risks and secure funding.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP prerequisites (materials, permits, resources, services) for planned and reactive work across maintenance and operations.
• Design operationally critical jobs using field data and technical expertise.
• Highlight operational risks and present to obtain funding.
• Maintain plant and equipment availability and optimise process performance.
• Build collaborative relationships with planners, field managers, suppliers and contractors.
• Provide expert advice on technical issues and develop solutions for risks.
• Obtain quotes and order materials/3rd party services under the framework.
• Ensure health and safety through RAMS, permits and site audits; meet statutory maintenance requirements (lifting equipment, vessels, generators).
• Maintain asset knowledge and communicate effectively across teams.
