We’re looking for a Technical Resource Coordinator to join our Waste Operational Control Centre in Reading. This is a varied role where no two shifts are quite the same. You’ll help coordinate our response to operational issues, support teams in the field and play an important part in preventing pollution, flooding and Health & Safety incidents.
You don’t need to come from a wastewater background. If you’re organised, comfortable juggling different priorities and able to react quickly when something changes, we’d like to hear from you.
Please note, this is a 6‑month secondment contract.
You’ll be part of our 24/7 operational team, helping to keep things running smoothly. Your day‑to‑day work will include:
The rotating pattern includes longer periods of time off between shifts and may include weekends.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, responsive and enjoys working as part of a team. You don’t need to be highly technical, as this is primarily a coordination and administration‑focused role. But the ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks in a busy environment is essential.
