Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a proactive Technical Coordinator to support maintenance across nine sites from Earlswood & Crawley Sewage Treatment Works. You will manage SAP prerequisites, coordinate internal technicians and external contractors, and ensure plant availability while meeting KPIs.

The role requires field work with travel across multiple sites and a strong focus on safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP, excellent organisational skills, and the ability

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of plant, equipment and operational processes.
• Collaborative – able to work with Planners, Field Performance Managers, suppliers and 3rd parties.
• Competent with IT systems (SAP) and documenting activities clearly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate prerequisites within SAP for planned and reactive maintenance.
• Design operationally critical jobs using field data and technical expertise.
• Highlight operational risks and secure funding where needed.
• Maintain plant and equipment availability and optimise process performance.
• Develop collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice on technical issues and operational risk solutions.
• Obtain quotes and order materials/3rd party services via framework contractors.
• Ensure health and safety requirements are met through RAMS, permits and site audits.
• Meet legal statutory maintenance requirements (lifting equipment, pressure vessels, generators).
