Job summary

Intec Select Ltd is seeking a 24-7 Support Engineer to join a UK-based IT services team. The role offers hybrid working with day shifts and progression into Infrastructure/Cloud projects, including ongoing training and certifications.

The successful candidate will handle 2nd/3rd line support, focusing on Microsoft 365, AD, Exchange and networking, with exposure to MSP or consultancy environments. A future path into cloud/infrastructure projects is highlighted.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a 2nd/3rd line support role.
• Experience in fast-paced environments, MSP/Consultancy or Enterprise clients preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft technologies (365, Exchange, AD).
• Experience with virtualization, networking, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Resolve escalated technical issues across infrastructure, cloud, networking and applications.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and implement configuration changes across customer environments.
• Manage incidents in line with SLAs and KPIs.
• Communicate clearly with customers and manage expectations.
• Maintain ticketing, documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to service improvements.
• Support projects with senior engineers and solutions teams.
• Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity and security activities.
