IntecSelect is seeking a 24-7 Support Engineer to join a UK-wide IT consultancy team. The role offers day and night shift coverage with hybrid working for day shifts and opportunities to progress into infrastructure or cloud projects in time.

You will bring strong 2nd/3rd line support skills across Microsoft 365, AD and Exchange, plus networking and virtualization experience. A driving license is required as travel to Kent-based sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in a 2nd/3rd Line Support role.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies: Windows, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Active Directory.
• Experience in virtualisation: Hyper-V, VMware, Citrix.
• Experience with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud.
• Networking knowledge: LAN/WAN, Firewalls, VPNs, routing & switching.
• Hardware, backup, cybersecurity, monitoring, and automation tools.
• Certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, CCNA, CompTIA are a plus.
• Must have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Resolve escalated technical issues across infrastructure, cloud, networking and applications.
• Troubleshoot and implement configuration changes in customer environments.
• Manage incidents in line with SLAs, KPIs and best practices.
• Communicate clearly with customers and provide proactive updates.
• Maintain accurate ticketing, documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Support projects alongside senior engineers and solutions teams.
• Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity and security activities.
• Collaborate with vendors and third parties on escalations and fixes.
