Job summary

Langley James HR & IT Recruitment seeks a Service Desk Engineer for a fast-growing professional services group in Manchester (near Deansgate), hybrid role. You will own incidents from triage to resolution across a hybrid Microsoft 365, Intune, Active Directory and Windows 11 environment.

You will support 800+ users, manage onboarding/offboarding, and aid in knowledge base development while travelling to UK offices as required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting 800+ users in an enterprise environment.
• Strong background in Microsoft 365 and Windows 11 support.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Willingness to travel to UK offices when required.

Responsibilities

• Triaging, prioritising and resolving incidents and service requests in line with agreed SLAs.
• Supporting Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint, plus user account administration, password resets and access requests across M365 and Active Directory.
• Provisioning, configuring and troubleshooting devices using Microsoft Intune, and supporting Windows 11 laptops, desktops, printers, mobiles and peripherals.
• Supporting hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure, and escalating complex incidents to Tier 3 with clear diagnostics.
• Managing onboarding and offboarding, office visits, desk moves and equipment installations.
• Maintaining accurate ticket records and contributing to knowledge base articles and user guides.
