Job summary

Bradford Council in Bradford is seeking a Casual Control Operator for the Safe & Sound service. You will be the main point of contact for users and coordinate responses according to procedures, ensuring information is recorded and communicated clearly to internal and external agencies.

You should have customer service experience with telephone information/advice work, be able to write concisely, and have IT/system knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service experience including telephone information/advice work.
• Ability to write concisely and legibly and to use computer systems/IT.
• Background or understanding of the social care sector is desirable.
• Two weeks of fully paid training will be provided if successful.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for Safe & Sound users and coordinate responses.
• Record, maintain and communicate information in writing and verbally per policies.
• Work with internal and external agencies to support users.
• Make deployment decisions under service level agreements.
