Job summary

Bradford Council's Safe & Sound service seeks a Casual Control Operator for the Safe & Sound control room. You will be the first point of contact for users, coordinating responses and logging information in line with GDPR and local procedures.

You will work on a shift pattern (early, late, night) with two weeks of fully paid training and a commitment to privacy and safeguarding in a 24-hour alarm service for vulnerable residents.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required, with telephone information/advice work.
• Ability to write concisely and clearly, including documentation.
• Background in social care is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow service level agreements.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for Safe & Sound users and coordinate responses.
• Record and communicate information in writing and verbally per GDPR.
• Work with internal/external agencies to support vulnerable people.
• Maintain logs and ensure accurate information flow.
