Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council is recruiting for a Community Alarm Service role in Motherwell. You will handle calls, assess needs, and mobilise Home Support staff as required, while ensuring accurate database updates and reporting of service user information.

The position requires good communication, IT skills, and the ability to work in a 4 on/4 off rotation, including day, back and night shifts. A relevant social care qualification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must be an effective communicator with experience working with people.
• Good IT skills to update and extract information from systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle calls from service users across North Lanarkshire.
• Assess callers' needs and mobilise Home Support staff where necessary.
• Record information accurately on the service database and relay to the care team.
• Provide statistical information and maintain service user records.
